It’s Thursday, and that means it’s time to vote for this week’s Amazon Digital Deals. We introduced this new Amazon feature last week, and here’s how it works:
Each week’s candidates are posted on Amazon for voting to open on Thursdays, and voting closes the following Wednesday at midnight (PST). The product that has received the most votes in each category is announced on the voting page Friday, and is then offered at the bargain price of $1.99 ($5 for the MP3 album) from the time of the announcement through the end of the weekend.
We’ll be announcing the new video, music and book contenders here each Thursday, and posting the previous week’s winners each Friday. This week:
The theme in the Movies category is gangsters, and the choices are The Godfather, Goodfellas, Scarface and The Untouchables.
In music, it’s an eclectic mix of crooners and rappers this week: Sublime, Dean Martin, Rokstarr and The Eraser.
In ebooks, chick lit and romance rule the day: Plan C, Lady Florence Steps Out, In The Shadow of the Lamp and Stiffs and Swine.
This week’s games category—and remember, these are PC/Mac game downloads, NOT apps you can play on your Fire—features Bloodline of the Fallen, Big Kahuna Words, Bigfoot Chasing Shadows and Music Catch.
