About The Author
Deborah and Joel Shlian are both physicians who practiced Family Medicine for over ten years before returning to UCLA for MBAs. They have since balanced medical management consulting with writing. They often write together, producing several medical mysteries as well as non-fiction books and numerous magazine and journal articles on healthcare and medical management issues. They recently moved from Los Angeles to Boca Raton, Florida.
