Allison’s Review:

This book is about a young man working as a detective in a small town that he wasn’t expecting to be working in. He has a much bigger mystery than he thought he was going to have. He is with a woman and he is her associate for the “mission”. He meets lots of people, some of which he can trust and some of which he cannot.

Entertainment Value:

This book is very entertaining because it has lots of mystery but is somewhat confusing. Sometimes I didn’t know what was going on. I still thought it was entertaining because it had the mystery that made you want to keep reading because this book kind of ends out of nowhere, but it is a series.

Educational Value:

This is a book for entertaining. It is very much like the series of “Unfortunate Events” (also by Lemony Snicket) which has mystery and a villain and people trying to solve or avoid the mystery.
