Sleepwalker’s Journey (4.5/5 stars) is a fun and very unusual puzzle app I paid full price for some time back, and it’s more than worth the full price. But today only, it’s FREE as Amazon’s App of the Day.
This app is labeled “guidance suggested” but I have no idea why. There are no in-game purchase options and the game content is totally non-violent; you’re basically laying down track and removing obstacles to create a safe path for the sleepwalking Moonboy to return to his bed while collecting stars and moons on each level.
All I can think of is that maybe some parents don’t want their kids using direct links to Twitter and Facebook, so maybe any app with direct web links in it has to be labeled this way. I wouldn’t hesitate to let my 11 year old daughter play this game, and I don’t find anything objectionable in it for even younger children, either.
