If You Use The Audible App, Link Your Amazon & Audible Accounts

DeliriumUsers of the Audible app need to link their Audible and Amazon accounts to keep using the app on their Kindle Fire devices. There’s nothing fishy about this, you don’t need to be concerned about Audible having your Amazon account information because Audible is actually owned by Amazon.

From the announcement email sent out by Audible today:

If you’re a Kindle Fire owner who uses the Audible app, we are pleased to announce that you have one less password to remember. To keep using the Audible app on your Kindle Fire, you’ll need to link your Amazon and Audible Accounts.

It’s an easy couple of steps — required ones, but not difficult ones. And, it’s one less password to remember. Stay tuned: We have more exciting features coming soon.

The email includes a customized link to login and link accounts, but you can also just login to your Audible account, click on the Account Details link at the upper right corner of the screen, and scroll down to the Use Your Amazon Account On Audible! link.

And while you’re there, be sure to check out the Tournament of Audiobooks competition, listen to the first chapter of each contender for free, and cast your vote! Lauren Oliver’s Delirium is up against Solaris: The Definitive Edition in bracket #1, and bracket #2 pits Rules of Civility against The Informationist.
