Rethinking Fear: A simple, unique approach to reprogram old patterns for a happier, more confident life.
One of my passions is providing individuals with tools to help them succeed. Another passion is my interest in the brain, especially as it relates to cognitive functioning and emotional intelligence.
For over 30 years, I have combined both of these passions in management, employee development, team building and personal responsibility training for individuals, businesses, colleges and the United States Navy.
This book addresses one of the most common issues I have seen deter individuals from moving forward in their lives and their careers – FEAR. Fear of failing. Fear of feeling. Fear of striving. Fear of speaking. Fear of trusting. Fear of trying. Fear of even the slightest change.
Neurological research has shown that chronic stress, such as fear, inhibits the brain’s ability to regenerate neurons. This limits mental function needed to discover, learn, create and succeed in life.
Rethinking Fear was written to provide creative exercises that help stimulate cognitive, emotional and neurotransmitter functions to help individuals override fearful patterns and create happier lives.
The goal of this book is to provide you with tools to:
-better understand your fear
-increase your cognitive function and emotional intelligence to actively deal with your fear
-replace fearful patterns with freeing patterns
The more competent you feel about your coping skills, the less you will fear.
“I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Simple, beautifully written fables that go straight to the heart of the fears that hold us back in life. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is ready to recognize and face those thoughts and feelings that keep us from enjoying true fulfillment and happiness in both our professional and personal lives.” 5 star Amazon review
