Emma Dilemma and the New Nanny – Emma Dilemma series Book 1 (4/5 stars)

Marmaduke is missing!

Once again, Emma has forgotten to put her ferret back in his cage. And with four brothers and sisters and a poodle who chases Marmaduke around the house, Emma finds herself in the middle of this and other family dilemmas.

If only she can prove to her parents that she’s responsible, then maybe they’ll let her join the traveling soccer team.

When Annie, the new nanny, arrives, Emma feels she’s found someone who’s on her side. Annie’s the coolest nanny ever, but will Mom and Daddy let her stay? Or will they fire her, as they have so many of the other nannies?

Emma Dilemma And The Two Nannies – Emma Dilemma series Book 2 (4.5/5 stars)

Emma loves the family’s Irish nanny. Annie’s fun. She likes pets. She keeps secrets. She wears wonderful clothes. And she likes to play. Emma’s sisters and brothers are also crazy about her.

So when Annie announces that she’s returning to Ireland for three weeks to see her sisters, the kids panic. What if Annie doesn’t come back? What if their parents hire a new nanny, someone who doesn’t like ferrets, or even worse, kids?

Annie introduces them to a substitute nanny named Mrs. Potts. But the kids don’t take to her. She’s just not Annie. What a dilemma! Then Emma has a brainstorm . . . and the fun really begins!

Emma Dilemma And The Soccer Nanny – Emma Dilemma series Book 3 (4/5 stars)

Emma has a new dilemma. Her traveling soccer team has its first game in Washington, DC, and she wishes Annie, the family’s totally cool Irish nanny, can be her team chaperone.

Mom wants to go, but Mom doesn’t know the difference between a shin guard and a soccer ball. Not only that, she’d never let Emma’s ferret stay at the hotel. And the ferret is their good luck charm. Finally, Mom doesn’t really understand Emma’s problem with Katie, the ball hog on the team who has been trying to take over Emma’s position.

Then there’s the problem of the two pets that are hiding in Annie’s apartment on the third floor. How does Emma solve so many problems all at once?

With her usual cleverness and drive, she finds out that families and soccer teams have a lot in common.

Emma Dilemma And The Camping Nanny – Emma Dilemma series Book 4 (4/5 stars)

Instead of spending free time with Emma and her family, Annie the nanny chooses to spend it with Bo.

They have signed up for Irish dance class on Sunday nights, and Bo seems to show up whenever Annie has an evening off. To make matters worse, Emma’s mother has invited “The boyfriend” to come along on a family camping trip.

Emma has another problem, too. Her best friend, Luisa, has been spending time with her worst friend, Kate. No wonder Emma is feeling a bit lonely. Betrayed, even.

How is Emma going to solve both dilemmas? Will she come out on top and a little wiser, as she always has before?

Emma Dilemma, the Nanny, and the Secret Ferret – Emma Dilemma series Book 5 (4.5/5 stars)

Emma has a new dilemma as her hectic, lovable family heads north to Maine for vacation. Can she get away with smuggling her favorite ferret in her backpack so as not to be parted from him for the whole summer?

And once she arrives at the “lake house,” should she go forward with a secret plan to rescue her favorite tree from a zealous new neighbor who believes in sacrificing trees for an unobstructed view of the lake?

Emma’s two problems spin out of control as she wrestles with how much to share with Annie, “the best nanny in the whole wide world,” and her parents.

In the end, Emma learns about trust and responsibility and discovers that grown-ups aren’t as bad as they seem at first.

Emma Dilemma, The Nanny, And The Best Horse Ever – Emma Dilemma series Book 6 (4.5/5 stars)

Emma has always loved animals—her two ferrets, the family’s friendly poodle, and her sister’s fluffy cat.

But now Emma is in love in a way she has never been before—with a big, beautiful bay horse named Rooney. Emma rides him at a nearby stable and thinks of him as her own horse until she finds out he’s for sale. Emma will die if somebody buys him!

Emma has another dilemma, too. Her best friend is moving away, and even Annie, the best nanny in the whole world, can’t help.

Emma tries to solve both dilemmas, with some humorous mishaps, and finds out that family, friendship, and finding a place where you belong are what are really important.

Emma Dilemma, The Nanny, And The Wedding – Emma Dilemma series Book 7 (4/5 stars)

Annie is the very best nanny in the whole world, and it’s been that way forever.

But when Annie announces she’s getting married, Emma panics. What will Emma do if Annie moves out? She won’t be able to see her favorite nanny in the evenings anymore or visit her in the apartment upstairs. Then Emma’s mother announces another change. She’s pregnant!

There are too many changes going on in Emma’s life at once! The house is in an uproar with all the wedding planning, preparations for extra guests (Annie’s five sisters and mother will be arriving from Ireland), and with Mom not feeling well.

Somehow, Emma – and her brothers and sisters, too -manages to triumph over all these dilemmas, and discovers that although changes can be hard, they can be exciting, too.
