Kids on Fire: The Fun, Funny Whole Nother Story Series For Gradeschoolers

Kids aged 8 and up who enjoy a funny and ripping adventure story are sure to love the Whole Nother Story Series.

Whole Nother Story (4.5/5 stars, currently priced at $4.49)

The three Cheeseman children, their father, and their psychic dog are all on the run. From whom? Well the CIA, naturally. But also corporate agents #5, #29, and # 207, plus two international superspies — one of whom happens to be a chimpanzee.

They all want Dr. Cheeseman and his late wife’s greatest invention-a machine with unspeakable powers-OK, I’ll say it. It’s a time machine. But it’s not working right yet, so put all ideas of time travel out of your head.Instead, please enjoy this high stakes, high action, hijinx-filled chase. And the bizarre characters our Cheeseman friends will meet as they protect not just their parents’ invention, but their mother’s sacred memory.

It’s an adventure novel like no other. Oh yeah, and did we mention the entertaining, plot-exposition filled, unsolicited advice you’ll receive along the way? So you didn’t ask for it? Yeah, that’s why it’s unsolicited.

Another Whole Nother Story (4.5/5 stars, currently priced at $6.15)

The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to end an ancient family curse and save their mother.

Now that the LVR (a super-secret time machine) is in working order, it should be easy peasy. Except they didn’t account for one basic rule of science: Murphy’s Law, where everything that possibly could go wrong, does. So the Cheeseman family finds themselves on another madcap adventure, this time through stormy seas and haunted castles.

And though their narrator, Dr. Soup, has a ton of unsolicited advice to offer young readers, he doesn’t have much to say to help the Cheesemans. Just this one thing: Good luck!

No Other Story (5/5 stars, currently priced at $6.75)

The Cheeseman family is back from back in time.

In other words, they’re in the present time. Well, presently, at least. They’re soon to journey back again — only just a few years this time — to save the life of their beloved mother.

But when they get to the not-so-distant-past, they meet something utterly surprising. Something wilder than anything they’ve seen before — including cowboy poets and good-natured pirates.

They are about to meet… The alternate versions of themselves!
