Remember the ‘choose your own adventure’ paperbacks of long ago, where at certain points in the story the reader was prompted make a choice on behalf of a character in the story, and the story would continue based on that choice? It made reading a lot more fun, and kept even reluctant readers turning the pages. These Choose Your Own Path illustrated storybooks by Gerry Gaston bring that same concept to the Kindle ebook format.
Note that while all of these books are listed as appropriate for ages 4 and up, the language in them (words like “sought”, “quest”, “fierce”) seems to be more like third grade reading material. Very young children will likely need an older reader’s help.
