Jon Scieszka has been in the kids’ book game for a very long time, with such bestsellers as The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, Math Curse, The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (unfortunately none of his picture books have yet been released in Kindle format, the preceding links are for the hard copy editions), and his terrific Time Warp Trio series of chapter books, and he’s also the founder of Guys Read, an initiative to help get boys over the reading “hump” they often experience when transitioning from illustrated chapter books to regular novels.
