The unorthodox drawing app OmniSketch (3/5 stars, all ages, FREE today only) is today’s Amazon Free App of the Day. While reviews have been mixed, it seems that most negative reviewers are disappointed that this is not a traditional drawing app, it’s more like an app that allows the user to create abstract, kaleidoscopic images. It’s a little complex for young children to use, but teens and up who like to experiment with shapes and color will probably like this one a lot! From Amazon:
With OmniSketch you can create amazing pictures with very little effort. Procedural brushes draw designs and patterns automatically for you. You’ll be amazed at what you can create with this app. Pictures are stored into your local gallery where you can view or edit them later. You can also upload your creations to an online gallery for your friends and the rest of the world to see!
