Madeline’s Review:

This is a book about a young girl who lives on acres of land and has been home schooled since 1st grade. Her mom gets sick and they must sell some of the land and her mom can’t be her teacher because she is so sick. Ida B does not want to go back to school so she changes because she thinks her mom and dad hate her. So now she hates school her neighbors and her family and life.

Entertainment Value:

This book was a very entertaining book and was very fun to read. This is a great book to read for all ages.  I personally read this book with my mom. My mom and I cried. It is a great mother daughter book.

Educational Value:

This book could be educational because it is a fiction genre.  You could teach what the Genre is and all the information about it.
