Here’s the set-up:

Fifteen year-old Megan Barnett and her single mom, Suze, have a special relationship—they are friends, close friends, who do almost everything together.

“But come on, guys, she’s my mother… Can I really tell her that while we’re snuggled up on the sofa watching Spider Man Three, I’m secretly undressing James Franco with my eyes? Of course not…”

The special bond takes a turn for the worse when Suze decides to start dating again. She hasn’t had a man in her life since Megan’s father left ten years ago.

Enter two mysterious young men, Megan’s new classmate, sinfully attractive bad boy, Guy Matson, and the dangerously handsome art dealer, Armando. Before long Megan and Suze both wind up in steamy relationships. But neither of the handsome pair is quite what he seems. In fact, one of them is Satan, with his sights set on a new bride. Megan has precious little time to figure out how to stop him. If she doesn’t, either Megan or Suze are quite literally going to HELL.

“Boyfriend From Hell” is the first book in the Falling Angels Saga from the author of the gruesomely hilarious, “Never Slow Dance With A Zombie.”

Reviews
“E. Van Lowe puts a fantastic new spin on the young adult paranormal romance, and I for one fell for it hook, line, and sinker.” -Shari Bergquist, My Neurotic Book Affair

“A thrilling suspense/mystery/fantasy book mixed with reality and some romance scenes that will get you hooked up till the end.” -Lalaine Faye, Lalaine’s Fiction Book Reviews

Boyfriend From Hell was a great surprise. I didn’t know what to expect before reading it but it was a fast and fun read that made me laugh more than once. What made Boyfriend from Hell unique to me was the sometimes tongue-in-cheek tone it had. It’s a great YA that’s also poking fun at some of the predictable Young Adult clichés. If you like paranormal YA but sometimes find yourself rolling your eyes at the way the characters are acting, you’ll love this book too.” -Lisa Choboter, Cold Moon Violet Books

“E. Van Lowe’s fluid and masterful writing made this book one that I needed to finish.” -Elizabeth Talbott, Fishmuffins of Doom

“I always enjoy a fun paranormal YA read, and Boyfriend From Hell by E. Van Lowe certainly came through on both the fun and the paranormal.” -Nicole Etolen, Pretty Opinionated

About The Author
Hi there! I’m E. Van Lowe, an author, television writer, screen-writer, playwright and producer who has worked on such shows as “The Cosby Show,” “Even Stevens,” and “Homeboys In Outer Space.” I have been nominated for an Emmy and an Academy Award. My first YA novel, “Never Slow Dance With A Zombie,” is a zombie horror novel with a comedic twist. It was a selection of The Scholastic Book Club, and a nominee for an ALA Award.

My YA paranormal novel “Boyfriend From Hell,” the first book in the Falling Angels Saga, came out September 2011 and has received mostly 4 and 5 star reviews. “Earth Angel,” the second in the saga, came out in December 2011 with equally good reviews. The third book, Heaven Sent, came out December 2012 and is continuing the trend of rave reviews.

The first book in my Hollyweird series, “The Zombie Always Knocks Twice” is now available as well. It’s another humorous zombie story, this time taking place in the world of Hollywood California. Another zombie story??? Yep. I’ve got zombies on the brain.

I write just about every day. I write all over the house, but my favorite spot is the dining room. It puts me closer to the food. In fact, I’m in the dining room right now (*munch, munch*). Please visit me at my blog, E’s blog, where I hold contests and giveaways, and share tid-bits as well as advice from my life as a writer. www.vanlowe.blogspot.com.
