Allison’s Review:
This book is about a very talented boy whose life is cracking jokes at any moment that he can. He does not like some of the people in his life because they are not very nice to him or they ignore him. He doesn’t like being treated special. He is disabled and is in a wheelchair and he loves his friends who don’t talk down to him but they make sure they are eye level just for him! They are good friends to him and they love each other. His uncle is one of the people he likes a lot. He lives with his other aunt and uncle, their son, their daughter, and an adopted son along with him.
Entertainment Value:
This book is very entertaining because it tells a story about somebody who tries to achieve his dreams but hits lots of bumps in the road. He may have lots of bumps in the road, but that doesn’t stop him! He doesn’t let big or small things get to him. He is a person who has had a very hard life but still makes his life as good as possible.
Educational Value:
This book has a moral to it. The moral is that nothing should get in your way but don’t make your friends or family upset while doing it. It is a book telling you to never get up, and you can crack some jokes along the way!
