Sara and Tobey may both be seniors at the same highschool, but that’s about the only thing they have in common. Unlike Tobey, whose main goal (or one of them) is to win the battle of the bands, Sara’s only focused on one thing, getting accepted to her first-choice college.
Sara has one other goal…. She wants to find true love. So when cute, popular Dave asks her on a date, she couldn’t be more excited!
She should be happy right? She’s got the most popular guy in school wrapped around her finger! But oddly enough, she can’t get Tobey off her mind.
Well, lucky for Sara Tobey has one more goal too, and it’s to make Sara fall in love with him.
This book is told in alternating perspectives, which helps reveal the REAL connection Sara and Tobey have! It will have you cheering for them from the first page!
Educational Value: 2 out of 5 – This book is a great read if you are free reading. It’s not very educational, but teenagers can relate to the situations. Susane Colasanti’s novels all seem very relatable to me. I thinks it one of her many talents as a writer. I encourage you to read it,but don’t expect to learn much.
Entertainment Value: 5 out of 5 – This book is a must read! It will have your heart skipping and rooting for Tobey and Sara! I’m in love with it! It’s a great free read, that I highly suggest you read. If you are into books that are relatable and realistic, as well as amazingly written, you will love it.
