Over 1 MILLION books sold/downloaded!

USA TODAY bestselling action adventure thriller author Brandt Legg has traveled with CIA agents, dined with senators and congressmen, mingled with astronauts, chatted with governors and presidential candidates, had a private conversation with a Secretary of Defense he still doesn't like to talk about, hung out with Oscar and Grammy winners, had drinks at the State Department, been pursued by tabloid reporters, and spent a birthday at the White House by invitation from the President of the United States.

At age eight, Legg's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business, and turned a hobby into a multi-million-dollar empire. National media dubbed him the "Teen Tycoon," and by the mid-eighties, Legg was one of the top young entrepreneurs in America, appearing as high as number twenty-four on the list (when Steve Jobs was #1, Bill Gates #4, and Michael Dell #6). Legg still jokes that he should have gone into computers.

By his twenties, after years of buying and selling businesses, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties. The stock market crashed. The Teen Tycoon racked up a million dollars in legal fees, was betrayed by those closest to him, lost his entire fortune, and ended up serving time for financial improprieties. After a year, he emerged from federal prison, chastened and wiser, and began anew.

Nearly three decades later, Legg now uses all that hard-earned firsthand knowledge of conspiracies, corruption and high finance to weave his tales. Legg's page-turning books pulse with authenticity. His series have excited more than a million readers around the world. Although he refused an offer to make a television movie about his life as a teenage millionaire, his autobiography is in the works. There has also been interest from Hollywood to turn his thrillers into films. With any luck, one day you'll see your favorite characters on screen.

These days, Legg writes full time. Visit BrandtLegg.com, or email Brandt@BrandtLegg.com, he loves to hear from readers and always responds!

THE OTHER FACE OF THE COIN.
The Cosega SearchBy Brandt LeggTHE OTHER FACE OF THE COIN.The Cosega Search is a bold rendition of how the other face of the coin we all share, might resemble. The side we don’t readily look at or look for. The one liable to frighten us if we apply too much scrutiny. From the renowned philosopher René Descartes’ own words in his Meditation One: "I had to raze everything to the ground and begin again from the original foundations, if I wanted to establish anything firm and lasting in the sciences".And thus The Cosega Search is created from the mind of Brandt Legg as he razes some of his own turbulence that rumbles beneath the surface. Each one of us bears testimony to a form of unrest that eats away at us, and Ripley Gaines is no different. He spent his life searching the hills and digging up the earth as an archeologist seeking proof for his theory: creationism never existed. The adventure starts with him at a dig site where they find casings and a rare object that immediately sounds the alarm all over the world. Rip and a reporter he is suddenly saddled with, Gale Asher, begin to run with the coveted items they discovered in the hopes that they will be able to stop long enough, somewhere, to study these items and learn more about man’s humble beginnings. As they run, we learn more about The Cosega Search, the Clastier Papers, the conspiracy theories of the world’s most prominent organized crime factions. The adventure runs and never stops for very long, fast and furious and at times, at dizzying speeds. I read on to learn more about Rip as a person, and Gale’s gentle side, and who they are when they are not running for their life while their survival instinct causes them to react rather than act with the normalcy I keep waiting to emerge. I am left wondering and thinking about what will happen to our heroes, as the end of their story is carried through to the Cosega Storm Book 2. Readers will definitely want to continue to run alongside these two characters to find out what becomes of them. You can read about Brandt Legg and his accomplishments, as well as discover all the great stories he has written. One of the reasons author Brandt Legg has been so successful in his writing and publishing and selling his ten books to date is his magisterial management of his website. From his biographical data we learn that he is ‘a former child prodigy who turned a hobby into a multi-million dollar empire. At eight, Brandt's father died suddenly, plunging his family into poverty. Two years later, while suffering from crippling migraines, he started in business. National media dubbed him the "Teen Tycoon," but by the time he reached his twenties, the high-flying Legg became ensnarled in the financial whirlwind of the junk bond eighties, lost his entire fortune . . . and ended up serving time in federal prison for financial improprieties.’ Or as Brandt shares, ‘Twenty-five years ago, sitting in a hot, humid federal prison cell in Virginia, I first dreamed of being not just a writer, but a writer who could earn a living, support a family and keep writing. But I had dropped out of high school, having only completed tenth grade English. As I sat on that metal cot, penniless and heavily in debt, with almost a year left on my sentence, it seemed an impossible dream. Still, for more than two decades, while doing everything but writing, I somehow kept the dream alive. Amazon's KDP changed everything.’ One year later he began anew in retail and real estate. In the more than two decades since, his life adventures have led him through magazine publishing, a newspaper column, photography, FM radio, CD production and concert promotion. He is a gifted landscape photographer.

One of the reasons Brandt’s sci-fi thrillers/suspense novels work so well is his ability to subtly let us in on the main character’s character from the first few paragraphs – ‘“How quickly can you get to Virginia?” Larsen Fretwell’s voice boomed through the satphone. “I’m in the middle of nowhere, Idaho on day seventeen of a dig,” Ripley “Rip” Gaines replied, wiping away dust and sweat as he switched to his other ear. “What do you have?” He didn’t want to leave yet. As usual, his sponsors thought the famed archaeologist was looking for one thing, but his hopes were elsewhere. A few early artifacts made him optimistic about this site, even though he’d been disappointed at seven previous locations. “It’s a Cosega find. Get here now!”

The synopsis is sound and takes us to the core of this first volume well - ‘He had been looking for it his whole life. When he finally found it, it made no sense. Now everyone wants it. Nothing will ever be the same again. Ripley Gaines, a brilliant archeologist, has spent his life searching for an elusive artifact to prove his controversial theory. What he finds shocks even him. The discovery rewrites human history and promises to change the planet’s future. It has to be suppressed. The most powerful forces in the world align against him, and a deadly competition for the artifact ensues. Capturing Gaines is not enough; he, and everyone who has seen the artifact, must be killed. His only hope, is to stay alive long enough to decode the Cosega Sequence. Dig far enough into the past . . . you may just discover the future.’

Read one of Brandt’s novels and it is likely you’ll reach for the next in sequence. Fine writing in a genre that often leaves us wanting more. Brandt supplies it. Grady Harp, November 16

Cosega Search by Brandt Legg is a first read of this offer for me. It has been in my Kindle Library for some time. If I knew that this novel would blow my mind and leave me speechless back when I saved it to my Kindle Library, I might have read it sooner! Instead looking for something different from my historical fiction and paranormal romances, I pulled up my collection labeled "archeology thrillers" and found Cosega Search amongst my collection of Ernest Dempsey,
Nick Thacker and others. I was hooked by the time I finished the first paragraph of the synopsis:
"...What he finds is beyond imagining. It unleashes a mystery older than recorded time, rewrites human history, and promises to change the planet's future.
It must be surpressed." And like shooting out of the start of a race, Brandt Legg launches you into a thrilling story involving archeology and conspiracies in some of the world's leading governments and agencies. By the time I finished though my mind was numb, I found myself reaching for book 2, Cosega Storm, without thought to my book budget or my already stacked To Be Read shelf! (Luckily, I got book 2 free from the author through Book Funnel. But the series is also available on Kindle Unlimited. Phew! Saved my marriage by a thread!)

I wouldn't call Cosega Search an easy read. Entertaining, thrilling and action-packed certainly but I also found myself challenged intellectually. So much so, I had to stop several times and just reflect on the conspiracy and theories, Mr. Legg exposed. Sure it is fiction, maybe both historical as well as Sci-fi. Yet, like all fiction Cosega Search has a underlying thread of truth. Thus, I stopped and read about the CIA ,FBI Vatican, and others and the power these organizations hold. I reviewed what I had been taught about creation and evolution theory, Roswell and Area 51. Probably it took longer than any other book I have read in this genre, but it was worth it! I haven't been this mentally challenged in a longtime!

Brandt Legg's characters are very well-developed and three dimensional. His scenes are so vivid you feel immersed in the action and it takes a while to rejoin your present life! As the characters run from the bad guys, my heart sped up with theirs, I felt the burn of muscles in my leg and the terror the characters feel as the villains gain ground. It was amazing!

A word of warning though! Cosega Search is not for the faint of heart! If you are firmly entrenched in your beliefs about creation, the " Holy Catholic Church and the goodness of the "Power's To Be" you may find this book a little too much to take. However, if you are able to suspend reality and your beliefs for short periods of time, Brandt Legg, will blow your mind! And maybe like myself, you will find yourself speechless, if only for a moment!

Great beginning to what I'm sure is a great series. Well written, well paced and thoroughly researched, it's guaranteed to please fans of history, archaeology, political/murder mysteries, conspiracies and pretty much a anyone who enjoys a well told adventure tale. The characters are likeable, the political bits are interesting and help move the story along (instead of making it heavy and hard to follow, as is sometimes the case) and the book ends leaving the reader wanting to know more and looking forward to discovering more about the artifact, the prophecies and what it all means.

This book is so good, I HAD to buy the sequels...
It got me chained to it from the beginning.
It takes exactly the time to grab your attention, then the mistery unfolds beautifully...
And it leaves you NEEDING to know what happens afterwards.
    Brilliantly written!
The exact amounts of mistery and action to make me want to obtain a printed copy and give it to my friends so they can also participate on this adventure.

Book 1 I couldn't put down, the same with book 2 and now I'm well into book 3. It is extremely well written, the dialogue is authentic, and the stories on the whole are well thought out but I can only hope that he has included considerable poetic licence as far as various agencies are concerned. Frightening to think it could be otherwise. On the whole an excellent read and I look forward to reading more from Mr. Legg. P.S. I read thousands of books a year, and rarely does one prompt me to write something like this. Oh yes, I couldn't fault him on his grammar either!

    I recommend it!
