For the past several years, athlete-turned-adventurer Simone Cassidy has been exploring the hidden reaches of the world, locating and preserving relics of historical significance, and uncovering lost archaeological sites. Her world changes when she is called into working with a covert agency tasked with retrieving only the most important historical artifacts. They need to find The Serpent’s Fang, and they need her help.

Reluctantly, Simone joins forces with special operative Lincoln Lewis, field agent April Farren, and the man at the head of the organization, Clark Bannicheck, who claims to have information about Simone’s parents, who died when she was still a child.
