KF on KND Editor’s Note: while this app has just one, 3-star review, the reviewer downrated it on account of difficulties in viewing its slides on a non-Fire Android device. The reviewer, a Histology student, goes on to rave about the excellent quality of the images on his Kindle Fire. Also note that this app includes slides featuring human tissues and reproductive anatomy, so some parents may feel it’s inappropriate for younger children. The extremely high-resolution images, multiple languages, quiz function and human tissue content are all reasons why this app is priced considerably higher than most game apps, at $10.52 (as of this writing).
