Initial thoughts: Very lightweight, but the material and craftsmanship looks like very high quality. The kindle is very snug and all ports are easily accessible.
The keyboard itself is held to the case via magnets so it’s very easy to remove and re-position if need be (however, it holds very well – it doesn’t easily slide around or fall out of the case). The prop on the back of the case props up the kindle and is strong enough to endure hard tapping on the screen.
The only complaint I have regarding the case is that the keyboard is a little ultra sensitive – I’ll tap a key lightly once, and it gives me multiples on screen. Not a huge hassle, but I have to be very careful when inputting passkeys or usernames. But so far, that’s been the only downside I’ve experienced.
Overall, I find that this is a great bluetooth keyboard case for the Kindle Fire HD. The price is fair and the product is high quality and fulfills its purpose. I would definitely recommend it!
