Then, there’s the movie that started it all: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas (PG, 4.5/5 stars). The Instant Video is currently on sale to rent for just 99 cents, or to buy for $9.99. When Jack the Pumpkin King tires of his Halloween duties, he happens upon Christmastown and decides to take over Christmas for a change. Unfortunately, he and his friends from Halloweentown don’t truly understand the spirit of Christmas, and can’t help injecting every yuletide tradition with their spooky, scary ways. A beloved stop-motion classic that’s fun for the whole family!
