Shelbi’s Review:

6th grade and up…LOVED IT!!  LOVED IT!!  Once I started it, I could not put it down.  Libby’s dad has left her with a CrAzY Aunt after her mother and sister are killed.  She is cut off from the world since her aunt watches stupid game shows all the time.  Libby doesn’t have a cell phone or a computer.  She basically just exists at this point.  She is an emotional wreck of a person.  She does go to school but all the students think she is weird because they do not know her or her story.  Then enters Peter Jamieson, HUGE ROCK STAR that rocks her world.  She has no idea who he is and he loves the fact that she has no clue who he is.  They fall in love but then things happen that I will not reveal and they soon start living life separately.  Libby becomes a strong person who learns to rely on herself but has never stopped being in love with Peter.  READ the BOOK!!  You will love it!!

Entertainment Value: 5 out of 5 – Absolutely!!!   The Jamieson’s Band kind of remind me of Big Time Rush or Justin Bieber kind of fame.  It is hard to believe that Libby had no clue who they were but it can also be based on your interests.  I would have no clue who most country singers are.  Jason Aldean could walk by me and I probably would not recognize him.  I know the name but that is about all.  It was kind of a Cinderella style story with a happily ever after ending.

Educational Value: Hmmmmm…teach kids the love of reading…sometimes just reading a book for entertainment is great!!  You can always learn new vocabulary words from what you read.  The more you read the smarter you become!
