Kids on Fire: 10 Year Old Aidan Reviews Mirror, Mirror

This week, 10 year old Aidan reviews Mirror, Mirror.

Content Type:  Instant Video

Description: Mirror, Mirror is a new version of the Snow White story. It’s not the same story as the Disney movie, and it’s not the same as Snow White and the Huntsman either. In the old Disney movie and Snow White and the Huntsman the evil queen wants to kill Snow White for some kind of magic spell that will keep the queen young and beautiful forever, and it’s really serious. In Mirror, Mirror it’s like the queen is just jealous of Snow White and wants to get rid of her, and everything is more funny.

What I Liked: I liked how everything in the movie was unrealistic. Everything was like a fairy tale fantasy, nothing was normal or plain, like real life.

The evil queen’s castle was really pretty, like a fancy music box. The dresses the evil queen and Snow White wear were all very pretty and the costumes of all the rich people who came to the castle made them look like strange dolls or big, decorated cakes. Everything was so colorful and bright, except for the part in the town where all the people were poor because the queen took all their money for taxes. It was like watching a cartoon, but it wasn’t a cartoon.

I also liked the special effects, they were cool. It was very funny too. I liked the ending of Mirror, Mirror better than how the Disney movie ended.

What Could Be Better: I don’t think anything could be better.

Overall Rating: 5/5 stars

I Would Recommend To: I would recommend Mirror, Mirror to people who like a good, funny fantasy movie.
Mirror, Mirror is now available as an Amazon Instant Video at $3.99 to rent and $14.99 to buy.
