Instant Video Spotlight: New Releases

If you’re like most folks these days, when you hear about a new movie that interests you coming to theaters you make a budgetary judgment call: see it in the theater for $9-$14 a ticket, wait for it to come to pay-per-view as a rental for $6 or so, or wait till it’s added to the rotation of basic cable stations that run movies. Now you’ve got a fourth option: wait till it becomes available as an Amazon Instant Video, often at a cost below that of a pay-per-view rental.

Case in point: these great new additions to the Amazon Instant Video catalog. Remember, you can watch your Amazon Instant Videos not only on your Kindle Fire, but through various streaming-enabled TV sets and other video equipment, via a Roku streaming video box, through your Tivo box, through your Sony PS3, your XBOX (with an XBOX Live gold subscription), or on your PC or laptop.
