If you’re like most folks these days, when you hear about a new movie that interests you coming to theaters you make a budgetary judgment call: see it in the theater for $9-$14 a ticket, wait for it to come to pay-per-view as a rental for $6 or so, or wait till it’s added to the rotation of basic cable stations that run movies. Academy Award -Winning The Artist (PG-13) is available to buy for $14.99 right now, and will be released as an Instant Video rental for $3.99 on 6/26. You can pre-order the rental if you like, you won’t be charged until its rental release date, and you’ll be notified the day it becomes available to you.
