A Stylus For Your Fire!

AmazonBasics Stylus

You know your Kindle Fire has a touchscreen, but did you know you can use a stylus instead of your fingertip on it?

Trying to tap on the right spot to activate a link while using the web browser, typing in text, or making selections from lists and menus can be frustrating for all but those with unusually small hands and fingers. You can double-tap to enlarge the screen view, but then you can’t see the whole screen. The AmazonBasics Stylus comes to your rescue!

Priced at just $12.21 and with an average review rating of 4/5 stars across more than 560 reviews, this tool could be just the thing you need to make using your Kindle a better experience—and to avoid fingerprint smudges on your screen. From Amazon:

Works on all capacitive touch screens
Conveniently sized and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere

While capacitive touch screens are great, one flaw is the inability to use a stylus. Not anymore! AmazonBasics Stylus allows you to use your Apple iPad, iPhone, Kindle Touch, Kindle Fire, or other tablet device without ever touching the screen with your finger. Perfect for the ladies out there who have their nails done, or for those who don’t want to take their gloves off during a cold day. The AmazonBasics Stylus is conveniently sized with a 8 mm diameter, and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere.

The AmazonBasics Stylus is a great tool to use with apps that require very accurate screen touches and taps, like Air Harp (Kindle Fire Edition).

  1. I bought a “Capacitive Stylus” that works great with my kindle fire. It only cost $ 5.50 too!! Not sure why this one you advertise is so expensive, when this one I bought works perfect.

    • We base our recommendations not only on price, but also average customer review ratings and product descriptions (e.g., does the description specifically state the product is Kindle Fire compatible). Of course our readers are free to comparison shop, and if you think you’ve found a product you like better at a better price, by all means go ahead and buy it. 🙂

  2. I would like to order 2 stylus for me and my daughter. She really wants one to help her out when she draws.

    • Just click on the link in the article above, it’ll take you to the product page on Amazon. 🙂
