Supernatural Fans: did you know the show has been re-made into an anime series, with the live-action show’s star Jared Padalecki reprising his role as Sam?
The animated series is not rated, but since it’s much more graphic than the live-action show it’s probably best to consider it a TV-MA program.
Supernatural: The Anime Series (4/5 stars) includes 22 episodes, each 23 minutes in length, and is currently priced at $1.99 to buy per episode in SD / $2.99 in HD, $24.99 to buy the entire series in SD / $29.99 in HD.

Like with the Anime Marvel series that came out(X-Men/Wolverine/Iron Man/Blade) this is a entertaining Japanese animated look at a U.S. show. Like one reviewer mentioned it has a decent and entertaining mix of episodes that are from the actual series and some that are original to the anime series. Sadly, the voice of Dean isn’t played by the actual actor until the last two episodes so it’s little weird to hear the actor who plays Sam voice his animated character throughout the anime but another actor who voices the character of Dean until the last two episodes. The animation is good and the soundtrack for the series was picked nicely to fit the series well…for fans of anime looking for a ghostly series genre or for fans of Supernatural this is a set that’s worth getting…”
