A&E Networks’ History Channel is launching a new channel for kids called Planet H, and as part of that initiative they’re also rolling out some educational game apps for kids. Here are the first two, both rated as appropriate for all ages and both currently priced at $2.99. .

Empire Run

Frontier Heroes

Note that while this app has an average review rating of just 2.5/5 stars as of this writing, it also only has two reviews as of this writing. The one negative review simply states that the game is not educational enough, but our own Editor in Chief April L. Hamilton has tried the game and reports that an essential part of gameplay involves collecting Did You Know (DYK) facts about American history, and that the game is cute and fun.
