Today Amazon is rolling out its new Kindle Countdown Deals sale feature. From the press release:
Kindle Countdown Deals provide readers with limited-time promotional discounts on Kindle-exclusive books. Customers can see the regular price and the promotional price on the book’s detail page, as well as a countdown clock telling them how much time is left at the promotional price.
Here’s a screenshot that shows the countdown clock, sale price and regular price for The Betrayed Series: Ultimate Omnibus Collection, which is currently being offered at just 99 cents instead of its usual price of $9.99 as part of a Kindle Countdown promotion.
