Kids on Fire: A New, Free Neil Gaiman Halloween Audiobook, Narrated By Gaiman Himself!

Neil Gaiman and Audible are teaming up for a good cause: the education charity DonorsChoose.org. Gaiman has written a brand new short story for Halloween and serves as narrator for the Audible audiobook recording too. For its part, Audible is giving the recording away for free and for every download, donating $1 to Donors Choose.

Note that this story may be a little too intense for the very young listener, but any who enjoyed Coraline or The Graveyard Book will enjoy this book, too.

From Audible:

Two years ago, author, narrator, and screenwriter Neil Gaiman proposed that, every year for Halloween, people give each other scary books. We couldn’t agree more. So this year, we’re putting our money where our mouth is. Scare yourself or someone you love with the never-before-seen (or heard) short story Click-Clack the Rattlebag, written and narrated by Neil himself, and Audible will donate $1 for every download through Halloween up to $100,000 to the education charity DonorsChoose.org.
